It took four minutes for mall security at Durham’s The Streets at Southpoint mall to shut us down today. We came with more people and signs. One person, offered a leaflet with information about the real origin of the bodies, said, “I don’t care. I just want to have fun!”
Two of us were ticketed by the sheriff for “trespassing,” after trying to install the protest signs at the mall’s entrance.
But this felt very worth it!
Make money, trample human rights!

“No photos of the police!” “But you are mall security, not the police.”
“No photos!” “How about investigating the presense of dead people at Southpoint?”
“No more J. Crew for you!”
